introducing: motivational mondays

mondays kind of get a rap for being a drag -- a lot of people don't look forward to them. live for the weekend, baby! i'll admit, i used to subscribe to that school of thought (hello high school).

but i've learned about & become a big believer in the energy you put out into the universe. & i want to be someone who is putting out positive energy, rather than negative. so i've changed my outlook on mondays. they're a new start -- a fresh day, a fresh week, a chance for growth. you get to move on & move forward.

i still enjoy my weekends, but i also am trying to live more in the moment & be more present. i'm trying to appreciate the here & now. so i'm changing my mondays from being tedious & something to get through, to motivational & a great start to a new week!

for today's motivational monday thought, i want to share something that my friend brooke has been doing (& that i have since started to do too). it's called breaking out of your box!

this challenge is awesome if you've been feeling stuck in life lately, or feeling like things have been a little stagnant. every day for 10 days, you try something that scares you or that pushes you outside of your comfort zone. for my first day, it was starting this blog. over the next 10 days, i'll be doing more to help break out of my box & become more than what i've limited myself to being. i'll be posting here each day as i break out of my box.

so here's to pushing ourselves -- challenging ourselves to grow & become more than the box we've put ourselves in. i believe in you! you are capable of so many amazing things & you can do anything you set your mind to. so i want you to join me for the next 10 days as we push ourselves outside of our boxes & try new things. it can be anything you've wanted to do, but haven't done yet, or even something you're scared of or intimidated by. the opportunities are endless.

so let's get out there & open those boxes!

xoxo, sadie your skin lady
